FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2012: Alison Brie is #77
Alison made it on FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2012 list. She is number 77!
Full name: Alison Brie Schermerhorn
DOB: December 29, 1982
Place of birth: Pasadena, California, USA
Occupation: Actress
Alison Brie factsAlison’s an American actress famous for appearing in Community, Mad Men, and Scream 4.
She was ranked #5 in the 2010 Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Famous Faces From Around the World, which is a thing that actually exists, apparently.
Before she became an actress, Alison Brie worked as a clown.
Why we love Alison Brie
According to IMDB, Alison Brie’s first role was Toto in a production of the Wizard of Oz at a South California Jewish Community centre. We’re not sure, but we think Toto was a dog. Isn’t that right? Strange. Perhaps they put her in a tiny dog-suit. Anyway. She also performed as a clown before she made it big, which at least goes some way towards healing our fear of clowns. Although not all the way. Never.
Alison Brie’s probably most famous for her role as Annie Edison in cult US Comedy Community, which is right at the top of our list of Shows We’re Totally Going To Watch Soon Honestly right next to Arrested Development and The Killing. We hear it’s fantastic. She’s also in super-slick smoking endorsement and occasional drama Mad Men, where she plays Trudy Campbell, and as Neve Campbell’s assistant in Scream 4 (or Scre4m, as it was officially and perhaps wrongly called). It doesn’t work out well for her - she gets killed in a garage. You might think that constitutes a spoiler, but come on, guys. It’s a Scream film. Barely anyone survives those.
But it’s not all big-budget films and AAA titles for our Alison. Oh no. Alison Brie’s appeared in a variety of shows, shorts and movies with titles ranging from the merely dubious (Dickie Smalls: From Shame to Fame) to the Syfy-Channel orientated (The Deadliest Lesson, Parasomnia) to the outright incriminating Hot Sluts - and we’re not making that up, you can look it up. Turns out it’s a comedy, so it’s fine. But do remeber that your place of work might not see it that way, don’t come crying to us when some IT snake grasses you up.
